Artist's Comments
For the Britannia Model Village project, I produced a number of fake campaign and propaganda posters, some of which I've tarted up to put up in the show.
Aplogies to my European watchers- the project takes place in a near-future Britannia where some sort of catastrophe has hit the world (I never specified what, but theres lots of hints in the photos), and Britain and its former Commonwealth form one power block, and the former European Union form the other, with which Britannia is at war. Poster uses some very heavily contrast/brightness modified pics of the Carlisle skline (may 06) and a rocket bomb miniature that I built. |
