Artist's Comments

I went back up to Blea Moor and Ribblehead a couple of weeks ago in the snow, get some nice pics around there. Couple of transport pics first, landscape pics to follow.

Its nice to see the name revived like this :) I had (still have somewhere) an old Lima N gauge frieghtliner train set from the 80's too, bought it secondhand when I was 12...

I wonder what kids of the Xbox generation make of such wholesome passtimes?

Well, nobody has toys you can actually play with and touch these days do they, kids are all gown up anyway by the time theyre ten, and trains and things are monumentally uncool, so meh. I have to say that despite owning a playstation, it spends more time as a glorified paperweight, and I actually have a little model railway I built myself on a shelf on my desk, something just to leave whizzing round when Im working :)

I've been planning on posting some pics of my workspace (a couple of people on DA I've known since the old days here have been doing this, so I thought I'd do it). The models not quite finished yet, I'd rather get it finished before I post piccies :) But to give you some idea of the scale of it, its Z gauge (thats the smallest commercially availible one), the locomotive is an inch long, and the whole layout is about a 2 foot long by 8 inches wide, but in that space has track on two levels, a river, 4 bridges, and two tunnels!

Howard: ...That isn't really a game, is it? It's more like a series of events. A series of horrific events... culminating in a rape...
